EVALUATION

My aims for this project were to create something with meaning of location, to develop new skills , to solve the problems that came with this and finish my project on time. I personally think that I need to develop this skill of editing , because I feel like I am not good enough at edit images, every time I edit I feel like there is something missing like it need more shadow or effects, so I need to develop this.

For this project I really wanted to create something new , with original imagery (every time I did a project I was to lazy to get original imagery and I took it from google) but something that represents my skills and give me confidence that I can do it, for example a magazine , I love creating magazines with new layouts. 

I think that my reflective journal really helped me to achieve my outcome of the project I followed the plan and it worked. Two important points from my project are the writing and the layout. I think I would have changed a bit of the writing and placed it better to be more readable for the people and as for the layout I could have done a better background to make it look more professional.

My concept for this project has changed a lot and also evolved . I had so many ideas like doing a short film sad or scary with script , story boards and everything but I was a bit scared that It will not look good. I was thinking to do a leaflet or a poster to advertise the film plus recording and editing the audio, but It all changed to a magazine and this evolved so beautiful. The research influenced me through the patterns of the magazine and the ideas you get to create many things.  Even if had had problems and did not attend to many lessons and I missed so much information from my teachers but I managed to do this and made it look so good. I think that my biggest develop was that I did finished the project only in two days and also add everything to blogger in order. This made me so proud of my self and I managed to do so many things in a short time.

There wasn't a challenging part when I used the software, only minors problems. I did practice before on this software and for me it was pretty easy, only the small problems affected me a bit for example how to make the image and the writing to look more clear, and to add the missing files every time I made a change. The most difficult part was to think how to make it better and better because I was late finishing my piece and to make sure that everything is in order on the pages. also I needed a lot of subheadings and I was running out of ideas but in the end I managed to work it out.

Honestly, I was feeling a bit scared at first because I had to finish the unit in order to start the final major project and with me missing that many lessons I was under pressure and I only finished some bits on the unit and I focused more on the final piece. Now I feel really well that this pressure is done. 

As you can see my skill is time management and I like that with that time I had many ideas for the layout.

I am really really happy with outcome of  the project, I showed to my self that is never to late to do things and finished them. The positive thing are that everything is on place, but there is negative things as well. I don t like that I had to rush and and couldn't get any feedback from my classmates or my teacher for the process. Moreover, I feel that it conveys the idea of location pretty much clear ,you have visual images and writing that tells you about two locations, tradition religion , food etc.

As I wasn't that much in class , I didn't get much feedback , but I managed to get one from my teacher, he said that everything looks good and he really likes that I put lines around the images and made them look  like the frame from a painting, so just positive feedback, this makes me feel relived .

Based on everything I have done on this project I've learned that the most valuable thing to go forward is more planning and attending to lesson to be on time with everything and not to be stressed or sad that I cannot finish my project, also that I need to be more focused and star taking everything seriously.

In the future if I ever come across to do a project like this again I will definitely improve my editing skills.
